Kindergarten Summer Project

Kindergarten students will make “ALL ABOUT ME BOXES” over the summer.  Help your child cover a shoebox with wrapping paper and print his/her name on one side of the box. On another side of the box, your child will make a handprint using tempera paint. Finish decorating the remaining sides of the box using photographs and collage materials. The decorations should reflect interests and aspects of each child’s personality, family, etc. Let your imagination and creativity soar!!! The Kindergarten classes will enjoy learning “all about” our new classroom friends when we begin school and share each student’s special box.
