Parish Mission:  The Parish Mission will be the week of January 28th through January 31st.  The school will be celebrating mass on Monday, January 29th instead of Friday, February 2nd.  Please come and join us at mass and the mission.  We would love to have a large showing of our Palmer families.  Babysitting will be provided for the morning and evening sessions.  What a lovely way to start our Catholic Schools week and the New Year by renewing our faith.  Look for updates for the parish mission coming in January.

HSA News:   The annual Carrabba’s dinner will be held on February 22nd.  This will be a parish fellowship event, not a fundraiser.  We encourage all families and as many parishioners as possible to attend.  More details will follow.  There will be a planning meeting for the event on Tuesday, January 9th, at 11:00 am in the Browning Center (OLSS).  All are welcome.  Any questions, please contact Robin Devenny @ 992-1168.

Our next Star newsletter will feature 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.  Please e-mail any info, pictures, etc. to Lorraine (sitton9@comcast.net).  We hope to publish the next edition by the end of this month.

The annual PCA golf tournament will be held on March 26th at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.

This year we are adding a tennis tournament to the event.  Our first meeting will be announced shortly.

Continue to send in your box tops and labels.  Remember to keep the UPC code on the label or they are invalid.

Lunch:  The hot lunch and milk program will restart on Wednesday, January 17, 2007.  Please note, your child will need to bring a lunch and a drink for Friday, January 5th thru January 16, 2007.  Pizza will not be served tomorrow; therefore, your child will need to bring a bag lunch and a drink.
