| SCRIP THE TEAM APPROACH |
| What is SCRIP? SCRIP is a term that means "substitute money", better known as Gift Certificates. These negotiable gift certififates are used just like cash and are the same as the ones you would purchase from the store. How SCRIP generates revenue: SCRIP is purchased from retailers up front with a check. The school then resells the SCRIP certificates at full face value, retaining 2% to 25% net profit as increased revenue. The SCRIP certificates are redeemable at full face value. How do both the school and parents benefit? All net profits from the sale of SCRIP are split 50/50 between P.C.A. and the parents. The parents' net profits accumulate as credits, which can then be used towards registration fees, resource fees, tuition, or you have the option to donate back to P.C.A. What exactly do you mean by SCRIP credits? SCRIP credits translate to money off your registration fees, resource fees, and tuition. The amount depends on your individual purchasing power.
