O come, let us sing
to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into His presence with
thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise! ~Psalms 95:
1-2~ Great Bible Reef: Believe in God. Bible Story: A Blind Man Believes (John 9:1-12) “I believe that You
are the Christ, the Son of God” (John 11:27)
Registration
Curriculum Fee of $418 per student is due
by March 3, 2008.
C-Project: Beatitude: “Blessed are those
who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of
Heaven.” When those individuals who
stay true to their beliefs, are disrespected and treated poorly; God will
reward them with a place in Heaven. (We
Believe, 35)
Parents: Just a reminder: please respect the rights and property of
each and every one of our surrounding communities and remain good and
thoughtful neighbors. During peak hours
of drop-0ff and pick up times, do not make u-turns in the surrounding
neighborhoods. Thank you.
ITBS
Testing: Second grade will be taking the
Iowa Test of Basic Skills next week from March 3rd – 6th. The week will begin with a practice test on
Monday and will continue with the core battery of tests on Tuesday –
Thursday. Parents please make sure that
your 2nd grader receives a good night sleep and a healthy breakfast
each morning of testing.
Parents:
Ø We have noticed an increasing number of parents using cell phones when
picking children up at carpool. This is
extremely dangerous. Please tell any
authorized person that will be picking up your child, to please adhere to the
carpool rules and turn off all cell phones while in carpool.
Ø Absences: The parent/guardian should call
the school with the reason for the absence before 8:20 am. If the teacher reports a child absent, and
the office has not received a call notifying the school of the absence, the
office staff will call the parent/guardians to verify the absence. (page 9 in the parent/student handbook)
