O give thanks to
the Lord, for He is good; His steadfast love endures forever! It is better to take

by truly helping them. ~John 3:18~
Book
of the Month: The book of the month
for December is The Crippled Lamb by Max Lucado. The theme of this book is that God has a plan
for us all. It may not be obvious at
first, but if we have faith, it will be revealed to us. Look for your gift – it’s there!
Parents: The Holy Father, Pope Benedict
XVI, is planning a visit to America in April.
Bishop Galeone will be attending the Papal ceremonies; therefore, 8th
grade Confirmation has been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 9, 2008,
at 7:00 pm.
8th Grade Parents: If you have not sent
in your graduation fees yet, please do so as soon as possible so we can order

Book
Fair Blizzard: The Book Fair Blizzard blew
through PCA last week, and was a wonderful success on so many levels. We had more than 40 volunteers, logging
service hours and creating decorations which will be reused at the middle
school dance. We sold $14,778, which
translates into hundreds of books and nearly $2,000 for our library
budget. We also were able to purchase
nearly $900 of books for the classroom libraries at PCA. Speaking of classroom libraries, about 160
students purchased books for their teachers this year. Awesome!
The Family Event was fun, fun, fun with games, prizes and free Santa
photos. We are blessed, and thank you
all, so very much, from the bottom of our hearts for embracing books, reading
and the PCA Media Center!
Scrip News: Just a few more days
to order Scrip! The last day to order
will be Monday December 10th.
Make this season a little easier by purchasing Scrip gift cards. Order forms are available in the front
office.
Jesse Tree: To celebrate and
expand our understanding of the scriptures of the Bible, Palmer Catholic
Academy students are making ornaments and reading scriptures of the Bible. Each class has been assigned a different
ornament and will be studying the scripture that pertains to their
ornament. You can view these ornaments
on the parish Christmas tree at Christmas.
